Firefox saving my passwords

Well, my Firefox updated a while ago it won't save any of my passwords on any website, including this one.

Also the "remember me" function no longer works on any forum/website!

how can I fix this?

Tools -> Options -> Security, Remember Passwords for Sites is checked?

A new profile should fix it, but that's probably the nuclear option. You updated from what version to what? In the same tab of the options panel, click Saved Passwords: is there anything there?

Edit: Yeah, "remember me" is cookies not passwords.

Cookies are enabled, as is remember passwords.

Under the saved passwords there is nothing as i cleared it all to try and get it working again.

It was maybe a month ago when i firefox told me it had updated itself, can't remember what from but i'm currently running 3.0.8 now.

Woohooooooooo I fixed it

Just deleted cookies.sqlite from my profile as suggested by google and now its saving everything

Thanks for telling us how you fixed it

For some unknown reason, tonight Firefox decided to forget everything. Like you say, by deleting cookies.sqlite from my profiles folder, it solved the problem and I'm no longer getting logged out
