Firefox spell checker

Is there anyway to look at words you have added to the dictionary and remove them?
As several times I've hit the wrong button and added an entry rather than changing it to the correct one.

Seems you need to find persdict.dat and edit the words out using Notepad or some other text editor.

Woot. I've got the English UK dictionary installed on Thunderbird so I tried to find my copy of persdict.dat but I can't find it. Perhaps I haven't added any custom words to the dictionary so it hasn't been created yet.

or have you already checked there?

Yeah I make XP search hidden and system folders by default. I'll try and add a custom word to the spellchecker via Thunderbird and see if it appears.

Edit - Hehe, I just made a persdict.dat file appear. I added the word "smungk" and searching for persdict.dat shows the file was created today at 19:14. In other words just now!
