Just starting using firefox, and wondered how you change a theme? I have installed 2 or 3 but can't work out how to change them!!

Also any recommended updates or add-ons?
 
tools>add ons>themes

and 2 must have extensions are adblock plus and filterset g updater. unless you like adverts that is... :p

thanks mate, they sound good, what is foxy tunes? i can't access stuff like that at work, they think OCUK is a work forum :)

Noia 2.0 theme is what i use. Tho vista aero is not bad.

Plugins i have are coloured tabs, adblock plus, mouse gestures (love this for resizing text easy), foxy tunes if u want to control music from ff tho i have it i never use it. Imagezoom (great for zooming in easy up to 400% or shrinking too large images. OCUK menu plugin also. ;)
 
Adblock Plus - Blocks ads.

Adblock Updater - It's what it says.

All-In-One Gestures - Really useful for switching tabs/minimizing/closing tabs quickly.

DownThemAll - A download manager.

Greasemonkey - Allows you to alter websites using user-made scripts.

Linkification - Converts things like www.website.com into clickable links.

Stylish - Same kind of thing as Greasemonkey.
 
Is there an add-on that blocks all ad's from apprering automatically? Ive got ad block but if your on a website, you have to right click each ad to block it, then as soon as you press refesh more ad's apper.

With out a doubt.
I used to use faster fox but that sometimes would stop pages loading fully when on the high settings & some site block fasterfox users but this one works like a dream :D
 
normal theme does it for me, been using ff for a few years now

these extentions are a must..

adblock plus
filterset g (updates adblock)
customizegoogle (can remove googleads from all pages, and makes google seraching amazing!)

these extentions are nice to have too

colorful tabs (makes your tabs colourful)
gmail notifier (gmail checker for firefox)
download statusbar (makes a download manager in your statusbar)
downthemall (a mass file downloader, good for doing on sites with say 4 video files on them, can download them all quickly to a folder of your choise -ie, porn)
