Firemen Themed Social Night

Okay, I've got a social night next wednesday and I've got not an idea on what to wear for it. It is a "Firemen" themed social and I don't want to just go there like every tom dick and harry in some costume one gets from the local joke shop and a yellow hat. :rolleyes:

Anyone have a unique/outrageous/random idea, please share. It'll be of very much help :cool:

By the way, the social night involves pub crawl, so I can't go naked or anything, a) will be too cold and b) bouncers might not like it.

Well there ain't much scope for novelty, but you could soup it up by having a fully functional hose (water pistol dressed up with hose wrapped around your waist) filled with tequila (or chilli vodka) for a laugh.

Or go as the fire engine for a change? Biiig-ass cardboard box so your head is the front of the engine and feet at the bottom. And still with a tequlia spraying hose (or just use your johnson with a cut-out hole in the box)

Hmm... that might work, will require a lot of my time to craft it - can ask them firewomen if they want to ride on me

I'm loving Rich's and Dave's ideas...

I just had an idea whilst showering... I might actually go as a firemen but will dressed like this

Okay, I'm about as well built as a stick, so I'll DIY the yellow baggy trousers with 2 red straps, but not half naked - I'll go look for them fake muscles from the joke shop

Keep them ideas coming, I'm getting inspirations from them

Aren't fire hose suppose to be red? It's defo red in my local station, I held one... :confused:

I can't... I'm part of the Committee (treasurer/web master) so I must turn up or I'll be doing forfeits and all. I'm a hermit most of the times, but for my club, I'll do something good.

Well, I've decided to stick to my idea I made last night...
I even go through the effort to make my Fireman's Axe out of Card, duct-tape and coloured electric tapes...

Anyone knows where one can get fake upper body muscles? I need it to go with my still (looking for) red suspenders and yellow baggy trousers...

A fireman based theme night ...... hmmm.

I would personally go to sleep for the whole night as firefighters are allowed to do while on shift. Also, **** off the police behind their backs but when someone at the party starts throwing bricks or sausage rolls at you the call for their assistance.

You could also demand 30k per year and if you don't get it, strike and not go to the party. For added realism, get soldiers to attend in Green Goddesses and jeer them as they drive past while they put their lives on the line with outdated equipment and are doing a job that paid firefighters should be doing and stretching already paper thin military resources even thinner.

I do though, sincerely, wish you a good party.

If I just came into this country yesterday, whatever you've said would have gone Wooosh over my head. But yea, might implement a strike and walk out if bars do not serve cheaper booze to us.
