Firestick to PC

I just use the prime video app, I guess that you are using the firestick for unscrupulous reasons, I think that you don't even need a firestick for that! @Hilly
Of course not..... I can watch netflix via browser etc; but I needed the output of the firestick to a monitor as the app doesn't have an equivalent web view;

But, it's solved and here's what I did:

I got a really cheap (£10) HDMI capture card; Plugged in via USB and plugged firestick into it; However after booting up the firestick I receive the Firestick logo, then a black screen; I changed a tonne of settings but couldn't get it worked; After much research it was the HDCP which was stopping this; So I then bought a HDMI splitter (£15), which takes the input of HDMI and allows it to be split - but disables HDCP. So output goes into the capture card.

I then use OBS studio, to add a source, for the video capture device, and after a reboot of the firestick it displays the picture;
I then added under sources an Audio input capture, and set that to be of the capture device and voila - I have firestick input, both video and audio through my PC headphones (connected via USB only) and using the studio I can muted, or mix the volumes - so I can have the firestick playing, as well as firestick on the PC for example; So total cost is around 30 I reckon to get this working;

Great success <insert Borat>

Thanks for the help all;
