Firestrike Extreme Bench.

4 titan sli, what a monster

Its easy to throw money at something.

Its harder to make the most of what you have ;)

EDIT>> My score is ok, and I also game on that 24/7. No crashes, its in a case, **** this LN2. Its a great gaming rig. I guess its horses for courses, but for me a really fast rig is meant to be used. Not just for a one off bench for the eeeepeen thing, leave that to XtremeSystems.com, which I used to be a ranked member of back in the day :)

I think I'm getting old and grumpy lol (I'm 40 BTW)

I have never understood these people, I am quite happy with my HD 5970.

My PSU is at its limit. Can't go any further than this without buying a new one. Cards seem willing. Plenty left on the memory, it seems.

Interesting.:eek::cool:

I can't be sure but i doubt Greg was at the limits judging by Scotty's score. Matt's still limited by his psu i think, so would be a pretty close run thing with both at there limits.

When are we gonna see your watercooled 290x's in action.

They will be in action on air in the next few days running 4 way CF and a couple of weeks after that I will fit the waterblocks.

If mine were under water id be scoring higher for sure. With +100mv i can do 1230/1625. Not tried pushing any further but with more voltage the cards will do it. The memory i think will go further but as you know we can't select higher than 1625.

You should really look at watercooling, I think you will have a lot of fun with it.

As to the memory with GPU Tweak you can select higher than 1625 but iirc you may start getting problems with lower performance due to error correction.

First run on my 2nd X79 system !

My poor 3970X lasted just long enough @4.5 to run this

http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/2160150

Four 290Xs on air @1180/1600 - loads more in the tank

Score 16616

AMD Radeon R9 290X(4x) @1180/1600 Air

Intel Core i7-3970X Extreme Edition Processor @4.5 Water

Graphics Score 22777

Physics Score 16156

Combined Score 5565

Now if I can just stop the CPU konking out after a minute or two I may be able to post a good score lol.:D:eek::D

Check the graphics score.:)

Can you not fit the cpu back into a RIVE and clock it there?

Also, I'm waiting for a BE mbd and have been assured the newer Ivy-E cpus are getting better physics at 4.8 ish than my 3960X at 5.47 in them........with good clocking mem of course.

I don't think the mobo is the problem, I think the problem is the CPU. I will find out when I try my 4930k in the BE.
