Ah, thanks. Yeah its a bit of a faf, you have a Base clock which on a GTX 970 is 1050Mhz and then a boost clock of 1178Mhz, the boost clock depends on power levels and temperatures, if all is with in parameters it will boost to whatever its set at.
Overclocking you add lets say +100mhz which would increase the boost to 1278Mhz, again it will do that depending on power and thermals, pretty straight forward and actually exactly the same as AMD's GPU's
But, what i don't get is why my particular GTX 970 (according to whats written in its specification) has a base clock of 1114Mhz, a boost of 1253Mhz and infact runs at 1354Mhz out of the box.
I take the quoted boost clocks with a big spoonful of salt tbh. Iirc my 980ti in sig has a listed boost speed of 1297mhz, stock clock of 1178. But it hits 1329mhz. But what I hate is the downclocking, at 63c the boost drops by 13mhz. Totally stupid imo as this temp is so low, my max in game is 65c using a custom fan profile.
Mate, Your score is way to low for your rig....
I would have a look at your set up as my 980 stock run is higher than that and your Ti totally owns my card....
I would look at reinstalling your drivers using DDU as a start.
Also your 5930K base clock speed is being reported at 3.0 when it should read 3.5, so I would look at that as well
Yay finally, switched over to windows 10 but I think what actually fixed it was disabling gsync should have thought of that earlier.
