Well chuffed to top 21k graphics on the 1070 :) Looks like there might still be some more in the memory yet seeing the top 1070 at +750?

As I thought there was some more in the memory :) Getting really close to stock 1080 GPU score!

Highest 1070 GPU score so far :D Not bad for air! Pascal loves cool temps so I bet on water they will fly.

Kaapstad, I am member of the AMD Reddit Discord server. Even being from the UK myself they are (generally :D) a lovely bunch.

I have lots of FireStrike benchmarks to post with you all on their behalf, so here goes. The formatting is @Discord name (Reddit username), so:

@brutuscat2's benchmark here.

I'm sure you're all aware of this and this, and the conclusion from Dan (Railmoth) and Brice Walker and brutuscat2 (all owners of RX 480s; @Brice Walker's actually from Reddit's AMA giveaway), our conclusion is identical to AMD's:
that's all which can be done with the reference RX 480, and compatibility mode is there too as a backup. Therefore, the only hope of a better performing card is to wait for OcUK's Nitro+ OC orders, or other custom AIBs.

These conclusions have also been echoed by Jim from AdoredTV in this, this and this video, and PCWorld verifies and validates this also.

the problem with firestrike is the score is quite heavily affected by the cpu not just the gpu. Because the cpu is 100% the 3rd test and half of the 4th test.

But here is my last score with a +25 on my palit 1070 and +400 on the vram also, haswell 4670k clocked at 4.3ghz turbo. (clock 2038 (after any power throttling) and 2327 gddr5).

14582

When I compared online, my gpu score was comparable to other 1070s, but my cpu is lagging behind as many people seem to have htt cpu's and skylake or broadwell-e now.

graphics 20668
cpu aka physics 8182
combined 7165

http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/13053259?

I might bump the vram up more, but I wont the gpu, at +75 which I set without thought after someone told me all palit's hit 2.1ghz, it had artefacts on first test and crashed during 2nd. So even if +50 is ok thats too close to the ceiling probably so will stick with +25 and I may even revert to stock especially if I see anything odd stability wise..

Dan (Railmoth) got this [will fix in the morning].
Furthermore, @Brice Walker's result is this--not verified due to piracy so screenshotted by him instead--and @MelancholyWay posted this from a user I do not have a FS benchmark link to yet.
Lastly, we have @brutuscat2's benchmark here.

For the scoreboard I need the actual Firestrike validation links.

The good news is I was able to put brutuscat2's score on the board.:)

Agreed with this, at least we can see the GPU score separate. My 21750 GPU score is the highest 1070 on the board but my 6600k means I'm the 3rd 1070 looking at total score.

Unigine Heaven seems more GPU focused so perhaps have a play with that :)
