Sometimes instability in the CPU can effect the GPUs.
It won't help much here but for game benches @4K (where there is no physics score) a good tweak is to use as low a CPU overclock as possible.

No. 4 way scaling is crap with SLI
Besides I'm in the top ten with three cards.
How difficult is it to get a 5960X to 4.7, is it something you can do with most of them or do you need a golden one?

Your graphics score looks about right
You are running 25mhz faster than the 295X2 on the core but 275mhz slower on the memory. I suspect that memory speed plays a part on this bench as LtMatt has better memory on 2 of his cards and scores a lot more on graphics than I do.
Depending what you are using it for a 295X2 can have an advantage over 2 separate cards as the two GPUs talk to each other before going through a single x16 PCI-E 3.0 slot.
Unfortunately no as it would open the doors to loads of arguments.
