Firewatch PS4

Well that was a disappointment after the reviews. Just finished it and found it very meh. It had so much promise it could have been amazing with a different story.

5/10 from me great concept ruined by a pretty awful uneventful story....

That's pretty much as I'd rate it, no idea why the reviews were so good based on that very disappointing story.

As above really, finished it last night after maybe 3/4 hours and I was taking my time as well.

The storyline was pretty weak, it all linked together-ish when explained at the end but otherwise though it was a bit meh. Shame there weren't more side quests. What did I spend all that time picking up cans and keeping notes for?!

Was hit by a bug at day 77 as well, trekked half way across the map before having to Google it and having to trek back again to initiate a cut scene.

That's really shocking to read actually, I've been avoiding reading too much on this as I didn't want to trip over any spoilers etc. After reading that it had some of the people who worked on walking dead season 1, I was very excited about this game - especially the story!

It doesn't hold a candle to TWD season 1 then I take it? Very disappointing if not :(

I was going to wait until they patched this up properly before I started but in the end I gave up and decided to play it anyway.

It's an intriguing game so far. Very beautiful. But it feels like you're wading through treacle at times with an invisible force pushing you back. It sometimes happens in Alienation, too. Dunno whether it's frame rate or controller lag or what. But that's the only thing that's annoying me so far.

I just hope it's not all over before it's begun. The map seems a bit small. Maybe there is another area you can get to over the cable car thing?

dont get your hopes up, it is an incredibly short game and fairly linear. I did enjoy it immensely at the time though, technical issues aside.

Yeah, it was short and linear. But I still enjoyed it. The technical stuff was horrendous though. I was ready to ditch my PS4 at the end of it and go back to getting a PC. :D
