Fireworks

Damn i hate fireworks, especially after i lost my cat lost year due to one of them :( . Some advice from a person who has had his cat killed from a firework:

......don't let the cat out tonight!

That's awful news. My cat has been so frightened these last few days. I went home and thought she was out and my parents were worried about her so I left the back door open. Turns out she was already in the house hiding, she came out from under the table this afternoon and lay beside one of the setees having some fuss but the smallest noise sent her straight back under :(

I've been moving house so couldn't have my normal display. It's been going on here for about 4 weeks now, and is getting tedious. No real aggro this year (so far), which makes a change.
I couldn't really say that they are any quieter though!

That is tragic G0dfather, i'm very sorry to hear about it :(

Thought our cat was getting pretty deaf, but she came up here meowing looking for someone to comfort her earlier so obviously not. She used to be terrified of them, but isn't so bad these days; clearly upset her a bit though.

Is it just me or have fireworks got a lot quieter this year? There is a massive display across the road from me every year and normally the windows are shaking and it's like World War 3!

Everything seems pretty feeble...or maybe I am going deaf?

Meh.
same here way quieter than before...
