Hi folks. I have 4 M4s in my system, 2 64Gb in RAID 0 and 2 128Gb in a seperate RAID 0. The 2 64Gbs are connected to the Intel SATA III controlled ports and the 128s are on the Marvell chipset ports on my motherboard. I have just updated the firware to 000F on the 2 64Gb drives using Crucial's firmware update utility but it doesn't find the 2 drives connected to the Marvell ports. Does anyone know of a way around this?

Cheers,
Ross

Im not sure if this will help, but I had a similar problem with my current build with the same drive and motherboard configuration (Set of Intel and Marvell SATA ports) but in my case I had the SSD's attached to the Intel controllers..

But anyway, in my case in order to have the update program see the drives I had to disable the Marvell controller in the BIOS, leaving only the Intel one activated. When I ran the update program it saw the drives almost instantly.

I guess it might be worthwhile to either disable the Intel controller on your motherboard (you can reactivate it again after completing the firmware update)

Or connect your M4's to the Intel sata ports and disable the Marvell during the update instead.

Hope that helps :)
