First attempt with PS

Was a horrendously dull and cloudy day so I thought I'd see what I could do with my D80. Turns out it was a bit overexposed so the sky (while not missing much) was washed out.

So I'd try for a minorly serious attempt in Photoshop.

What do you guys think?

Edit: Sorry for the daft sizes. Any one recommend a decent gallery/photo site which isn't Flickr?

The B&W conversion has really brought out the contrast, I like it

You can get the contrast back in the colour one too don't forget:

This is subtle but you can go as crazy as you like.

Aye Penguin I already did that. But as I say, the day/light was fairly boring so I only worked on the colour version for photoshop practise.

Need to find a good tutorial on layer blending etc.

Doh! Miss-read your orignal posting and then got confused with the mention further down of boosting the contrast :rolleyes:
