Well guys after four years of having a full bike license I have today put a deposit down on a 2010 Triumph Street Triple R.

Mixed emotions of excitement and nerves as I haven't rode for four years either. Ill have plenty of quiet rides to get into the swing of things though.

Ill get some pictures up when I finally take delivery in a couple of weeks time.

:D

Don't worry about it, the Street Triple is a really easy bike to ride. It's one of those bikes that you get on and it feels like you've been riding it for years.

Have fun!!

Here it is in the showroom. Take delivery of it on Tuesday. This morning I have been and bought all my leathers etc.

Never mind. I'm very excited now although the weather for Tuesday looks pants!!

The bike has only done 3000 miles and has 1 owner from new. It's only just run in.

They what!! You'll find others to ride with if you wish to, plenty of rideout groups around and events to go to.

There's bound to be someone here not far from you, who'd go tag along for a ride.

Went for a test ride on a a white street triple Saturday morning and instantly fell in love, first time back on a bike since my off in April... I was tempted to put a deposit down on the bike there and then but thought better of it and need to look at what it will cost to maintain the bike and how it will handle the winter riding as I have heard shocking reports of them just falling apart in bad weather. I am also loath to hurt it with winter riding as it is too nice.

Very jealous of you getting one :( Maybe in a few years when I can afford a second bike.

Well well well boys and girls the bike is in the garage a day early thanks to the garage ringing me to tell me it's ready and offered to deliver today!

Off for a very steady ride tonight with a friend.
