Turn it on, various lights on the motherboard are on and all the fans are spinning.

I currently haven't got a monitor, have to wait till Christmas for that so i'm connecting to my HDTV. Tried connecting it to HDMI slot on TV and got nothing then tried connecting it to PC slot and got nothing again.

=[

What is the full specs pf the pc?

All psu connectors connected including the 8 pin for cpu power, also memory in the correct slots.

Yup. All PSU connectors are plugged in and using advice on this forum where i was told the RAM can go into either 2 of the black slots or 2 of the blue slots, that's what i done.

First obvious question......Did you find that screw you lost , that you mentioned in your previous thread?

Yeah. I managed to get it out by tilting the PC case without even reading the replies. Was me being clumsy and dumb tbh.

Specs
i5 760
Gigabyte GTX 460 SuperClocked
2x2GB OCZ Gold RAM
Asus P755H-M

Asus P7H55-M is what i meant to say.

Hmm, i'll try moving the one RAM stick into A2 then. I'd have thought i'd have got a post beep though if it was a memory issue?

When I built my system I put the ram in the wrong slots and the system would not boot.

No post beeps ect.

Did that. No change. I did it with the case open though and discovered that only one of the fans on my GPU is spinning (there's two on there) - don't know if it's one of the features, it only spins in game or something...or even if it's related to why it won't boot properly.

Any other advice?

Don't take this as me trying to suggest you're a useless mug or anything because I'm just going from experience. The PSU connector the graphics card is DEFINITELY in?

Near killed myself when I spent two hours or more wondering why I couldn't get a boot screen and found out I hadn't plugged that particular one in.

Yup, my GFX card actually requires two of them, both of which are fully plugged in.

I followed the guide here, paired with my motherboard guide, went over things and i've done nothing different. I'm already a peed off i can't come up with the solution.

I would re-build the pc. Take everything off of the motherboard and start again, double checking as you go.

Thanks for the advice but i was that thorough when making it over the course of 2-3 days, i don't see how rebuilding it would change anything because i wouldn't be doing anything differently.

Have you tried running it without the GPU plugged in?

(Or won't that work as you are using your HDTV and not sure if your MOBO has HDMI slot as standard?)

I'll try it without the GPU plugged in. As for not having an HDMI slot, i've got a DVI-HDMI adapter but tried it with an ordinary DVI-PC slot that my PC has aswell. I just don't understand why i'm getting no post or anything on screen, that and why only one of my GPU fans are spinning.

From a review on the website

The cooler is the best i've ever seen too, ive always been a fan of aftermarket coolers for graphics card but it simply isnt needed on this card. The two fans work indepentantly of each other. For example, at low heats only one fan will work but the other one kicks straight into action if you load up a game or suchlike.

Looking at the manual, looks like your Motherboard has both VGA and HDMI on board.
So you should have no trouble testing without the display card installed.

I know you said you have followed the guide here and your motherboard manual but, you have connected both the 24pin ATX and the 4 / 8pin Auxiliary ATX power connector too haven't you? , because the motherboard will be reluctant to boot without that extra power connector installed.

It's located near the Top left corner of the motherboard.

Just something to check as, with all the other cables and connectors, thats one that can easily get forgotten.
If it is just that connector not connected its a pretty quick fix to plug it in.
