Hi,

I posted here over a year ago about a build but I never followed through on it. But now I have a job and I'm not so tight on money as I was so I'm going to give it another go.

The goal is to build a rig that can run Fallout 4 decently. So far I've come up with this:

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £1,054.74
(includes shipping: £15.90)

Now the CPU falls short of the recommended requirements but I think it might be okay.

Also I have peripherals now but they're pretty old. So I might upgrade them later so for now I'm focusing on the computer and the monitor.

Thoughts?

The specs for Fallout 4 are my goal but it's for general gaming and perhaps Labview and C++ programming for work but that's really it.

I may have gotten confused with the HDDs. I wanted one to store the OS for faster bootup times but I guess 1TB is a bit overkill. :)

The budget is not hardset at £1000, I'd go over by about 100, but I am including a monitor in the budget. I'll be buying the parts over time as well.

I like that mobo bundle too, I'll wait for that to come back into stock to buy it. And the Zotec card looks better too.

I'd rather have 16GB of RAM though and I definitely want to have USB 3.0 on the case.

Thanks for the help!!
