Guys I am losing the will to live, trying to screw the MSI Extreme 580 to a HAF X case since last night and getting no where. Been wrestling with the components for a mm and failing. Also failed to install the hyper 212+

Have you read the instructions for the fan? Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease don't use that crap

The gcard will just slide in on the left hand side between the rear of the case and the mobo. Just gently push it in. Then screw it

Where are you? Someone might live near you and offer you some help

relax im sure someone can offer you some help.

GFX card are very simple simply line it up with the top blue pci-e slots and push down gently it should go in and then line up with the rear where you took off the backplates.

I can push it into the PCI-E and it locks but lining it up wit where the backplates were is the issue.

With the case on its side unscrew the motherboard screws, then try fitting the GPU with the motherboard loose, it might just be screwed in slightly out of alignment.

Have you tried slding the backplate of the card along the back of the case and not push down the right side of the card first?

Edited: Actually this just hit me...did you install the motherboard standoffs/risers, or did you just somehow screw the motherboard directly onto the case?
