I'm planning on building my first gaming pc for a friend with a budget of £1000. My main objective is to build something that will be future proof and will easily run any current game. I'm not planning on overclocking but do I need to buy any extra fans? I also have a X-fi soundcard which I plan on adding. Can you see anything wrong with the following build?:

All looks good. Also the power supply can handle 2 x 5850s in crossfire with that setup so no need to change imho

I have that wireless card and a Belkin N1 router. I don't get a very good connection with the router being a floor below me. I'd do some research into it's quality before buying it but it may just be my router. Hope that helps :)

Thanks for the suggestions. It'd be nice to upgrade some of the components but the price is very slightly over-budget as-is :(

I use a Belkin N1 Vision router, with a Belkin N1 wireless adapter, I get a constant 90%+ signal (The router is downstairs, I'm upstairs). So maybe it really is just your router?:)
