Hi,

I'm looking to build my first PC to upgrade from my laptop, primarily for gaming and streaming films etc.

I have a budget of £800, already have peripherals (monitor: 1920 x 1080), but would need OS.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Good quality and a little cheaper. Also gigabyte have a very user friendly bios interface. Keeps you on your £800 budget
Also the website has a lot of cases for the same/similar price so shop around for one you like, some cases have different features.

If you can fit it into your budget the 240gb version of that Samsung SSD can be had elsewhere for £89.99.

I wouldn't buy anything from the place in question. The customer service is virtually non existent.

Scrap my above comment, as there is more than one place selling it for that.

Would it be worth dropping the 1TB hard drive and upgrading to a 240GB SSD?

I'm currently using under 200GB of my laptops hard drive, and could add the extra storage on the new build when required?

and when you need more processing power, buy an aftermarket heatsink to overclock the cpu
