Okay so built my first comp, everything worked fine.. however i have come to an issue when i turn it off then turn it back on the power just cuts out and it keeps trying to turn on and cuts out. i have stripped the system completely and gone over it again, have made sure everythings connected, but the weird thing is other times it turns on fine and just works... but turn it off then turn it on again and the problem happens again, it just cuts out.

I've checked each component at a time, they all work fine, id of thought if it was some serious the pc wouldnt turn on at all, but its working fine at the moment.. I've tried swapping the psu over too, same results. So i'm a little puzzled should i be worried about this? my only conclusion is that either i havnt got the bios set right or maybe the motherboard is faulty, but then why would it turn on and seem fine? so i dunno, i really could use an opinion.

Hmmm,

A few things to try,

Unplug and plug everything back in, maybe a lose connection?

Check the RAM voltage and timings are correct in the BIOS to what it says on the sticks.

If theres an overclock, remove it, it might be unstable and needs testing for stability with Prime95 for a few hours or Intel Burntest (20+ runs).

Update the firmware of the SSD.
