After a shambles next day order at a certain online store located in bolton including being lied to leading to me cancelling my order I have now cometo OC and spent a few quid on a 10600k build.

As ever my pc is a general thing, from 3dsmax to a bit of gaming and whatever else comes along. Just wondering what folks might think of the build and if my next steps might be worth it. Specs :

10600K
Gigabyte B460M d3H
Vulcan 32GB (2x16) -
WD Blue M.2 1TB
Corsair 550w psu

(already got)
Asus 1650 Super 4GB
Gigabyte 480 SSD

is 64gb ram necessary or worth it ? I noticed the change in page file size when i went from 16 to 32 reducing it to a few GB. Surely there comes a point when that isn't needed I guess.

Also a little unsure when this is expected to be delivered having paid the same £12.50 that I paid for next day delivery from the other store.

Anyhow, hope all is well. Thanks

Stan

Hi

Looks good, 32gb of ram is cheap enough 64gb of ram is onlg needed for tbings like editing large 4k files. Dont worry about the page file especially with 32gb but you can always set it to a smaller size.

I would have added a decent cpu cooler to keep things cooler and quiete, a £20 arctic 34 would do the job.

Check you have enough room in your case.

Might be worth getting a Z490 board if you plan on overclocking or upgrading the CPU in the future.

16gb of ram is generally fine for gaming with 32gb if you plan to keep the build for a while or do any video editing etc.

Sorry bud I meant that bit for the motherboard. I doubt I will upgrade the cpu either as with this 4th gen I had since new in 2014. I want to order that cooler but would prefer not to pay for postage twice since my current order hasn't been sent. Can't contact them it seems.
