Hi all,

I am new here, joined about 2 days ago, and I am a complete PC noob(ish)

I want to attempt building my first gaming PC, and decided to join these forums in the hope of learning a thing or two, and to get advice when needed. A friend I work with spec'd me up a build and I am posting it here to see what the general consensus is?

Thanks in advance for any input/advice and or abuse ;)

So,

Bases on some recommendations and some personal choices based on research, I have come up with a new spec.

Western Digital Blue WD10EZEX 1TB Internal Hard Drive
Corsair Obsidian 750D Full Tower PC Case
Samsung 250GB 750 EVO SSD/Solid State Drive MZ-750250BW
Corsair Vengeance White LED 16GB DDR4 3000 Memory Kit 2x 8GB
Intel Core i5 6600K Skylake CPU + ASRock Z170 Extreme4 Motherboard (BUNDLE)
Sapphire NITRO+ RX480 4GB AMD Graphics Card (PreOrder)
Corsair 650 Watt RMx Fully Modular RM650X ATX PSU

Total = £933.41

I'm thinking of eventually adding a second GPU and potentially water cooling it, so thought about just getting the higher PSU now rather than later.

Also, I think I am forgetting network cards? I'm so uneducated in all of this haha.

If you're adding a second GPU then get a decent 850w supply.

You won't need a network card - the motherboard ones are fine. Unless you mean a wireless adapter?

Looking at the specs of the motherboard, it doesn't have onboard WiFi, but I'd recommend using the onboard Gigabyte LAN with a cat 5e or higher cable to your router/modem for best "hitch" free online gaming experience.

Regards

I mean... To be able to play online, am I missing anything or does the motherboard have the ability/ what do I need to add.
But looks like that has been answered :)
