In regards to 975x they are more expensive for not much gain.. and all the boards you have been spec'ed do exactly what you want them to do.

heres the setup with an AMD chip and board, It's 100 over budget. Do yourself a favour and save the extra 100 to get a conroe system. If your not bothered about intel then this might the way forward for you.

Is this good ? i think i can get this, just have to get a litle extra cash. i figure the 24" may actually be too big, especially as the viewing distance isnt much, and i want to run games at a high resolution for a long time, coming from my 17" and low res. this 22" with its res. should seem good. i then thought at the same time, the dell would last me for years and years...
