The mother board on your list isn't a B3 revision is it? I heard there were problems with the earlier motherboards when using the sandybridge chips, wouldn't this mother board be a better choice?

No the B3 revision was for the P67 range, where as the Z68 range were released later and so don't have B3 revisions, the revision is built into the Z68s first release.

Some of them do say it, but just for reassurance I would imagine.

if you want a Z68 motherboard that can do crossfire/SLI, USB3 that isnt an asus at a similar price then this is probably your best bet:

Are there any notable differences between the Asus and the Asrock Z68 motherboards in terms of ease of use, or anything else I should be aware of?

Nope the Asrock looks very nice, it just wasn't in stock the other day

The only real difference is that the ASUS has bluetooth built in.
