hi, I'm quite new to pc gaming and I'm doing my first build. I know a reasonable amount about computers but I'm a bit stuck on buying my components. I don't really know if they will be compatible. I hope not to spend too much on this build but I want this pc to work well and last long. These are the parts I've looked at..

Intel Core I5 3550 3.3Ghz Quad Core Ivybridge CPU Processor Socket 1155
Asus P8H61-MX USB3 Intel H61 Socket LGA1155 DDR3 mATX Motherboard
16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1333MHZ RAM Memory
780W G7 ATX PSU
Asus 1GB GeForce GTX 560TI OR GTX 570
Western Digital 2TB SATA 6Gbps Power Saving Internal Hard Drive OEM - Caviar Green
Sony AD-5280S-0B DVD±RW 24x SATA Drive
NZXT Phantom 410 Midi Tower Chassis - White

I'd really appreciate if you have any recommendations if these parts don't go together or to make the price to drop.

What make and model is the PSU?
Also go ATI over Nvidia unless your using a 3D screen.
Finally whats the budget?

My budget is about £700 and I've just read some reviews on the power supply and its not that good so i was looking and I found this, Corsair CMPSU-750TXV2UK TX750 V2 High Performance 750W Power Supply. Also do you recommend a graphics card?

Ok so £700.

Is this just the tower?

Or do you require monitor, OS etc?

You only need 500-600W for a single GPU setup. 650 - 750 for SLI or X-fire.
