
You not prefer hardware for this?

.....then a short while after...did one for the wife....also with no problems either
...and would happily do it again 


My first build was a 386dx, had a whopping 8mb of RAM and a 40mb hard drive! My uncle brought it home and I watched him strip it to pieces, then I put it back together again. Oh how times have changed![]()
And the PSU clamp bent the PSU slightly, though that was through no fault of my own, there must have been a manufacturing defect on the clamp. Bent or too short etc.Mine was an Athlyon 64 x2 5200 @2.67GHz with 3GB DDR2 and an 8600GT. it didn't go so well as I was transferring a prebuilt to a new case. the original supplier had glued the components in, so I had to gently pry them all off, which took a while, but it went smoothly. I can't imagine not knowing the front panel and usb headers off by heart now, but it was prettyscary at the time lol . that was a pretty reliable setup otherwise!
