the original supplier did what..?![]()
My first build was an AMD K5 back in 1996, before that id been messing around with a couple of 486 computers id bought from work, just installing memory, graphics cards and modems at the time.
My first dial-up modem was 14.4 kbit/s ...a bit slower than my 100mb connection these days
Ive lost track of the mumber of computers ive build in those 16 years but they are still fundamentally the same as they were back then.....just faster.
Ive seen it quite a few times where they glue componants in to stop them coming loose.
My first build ( last year ) went fantastic, i had mixed up two cables on the motherboard, one for the on button on my case, and one for the reset, got them the wrong way round, and freaked out that it wouldn't start, took me a few hours to find out what i had done haha, other than that i was suprised i had accomplished it myself and felt proud![]()
hoping i dont make any mistakes like that :/
I should be building my first build 2moz and these stories are starting to make me quite scared lol
