You can actually use SLI on non SLI mobos by using the hyperSLI software.

The real question is if the lanes run in sync, for the price of the MSI mobo I seriously doubt it fella. As stulid said it would be something to promote on the mobo if it did not hide it.

I've emailed MSI to find out. again from previous research it did suggest it would run at 8x/8x however i could be wrong on this as it was just peoples opinions and never found any solid proof.

i await MSI's response :D

ill post back with results so this is once and for all sorted ^^

Confirmed this in another post mate

G45 is locked via bios i think... i think. ill check tonight and come back

however through MSI's various programs , one being the control centre. allows you to do whatever you like with your voltages // settings

anyone got any recommendations that might be good to change?

with the top fans it can either have 1-200mm fan or 2-120/140mm fans, would 2 fans on top be better than 1 big fan?

also would getting a separate be a good idea? if so whats good?

I'd stick with the 7950 over the 670 at the moment. Over on the graphics card section the 7950s are overclocking pass a 670 oc and benching much higher on 3d mark. That's for 100 pounds less of a price. The 7950s are truly best bang for buck at the moment.
