After 3 years of driving the parents car, I have finaly got my own, picking it up on monday. Its a C2 sx, ticks all the boxes for me. Group 1, good mpg, good saftey rating, airbags, aircon, electric windows and mp3 cd player :).

The one I have gone for is a showroom model, 600 miles on the clock with 2 and a half years of waranty left and as it happens its in the option colour I wanted.

The guy at citreon had it for £7500 but did it for £7000 with mud flaps and mats thrown in. Which is pretty good really as there was no part ex. The £500 saved covered the cost of my first years insurance perfectly :). He is getting it cleaned up for me before I pick it up

Photos taken on test drive, it was POURING it down so there is some water on the camera.

:D Friend has one of these, not sure what engine though but looked very smooth and friendly to drive, congratulations, keep it clean and looked after!

£7,000 & 1.1 litre engine = no, imo.

Cant understand some peoples logic.

What a waste

Get a second/3rd or 4th hand fiesta if you want a 1.1

Surely the fact its 'good mpg, low tax and low insurance' is cancelled out by the fact it cost you 7 grand?

Now now, Fox.

Logic has no place in the decision of buying a woefully expensive asthmatic shopping cart :p

Enjoy it though, Tomdun, I hope you do for that money ;)

oooh nice im looking to get the C2 VTR in a few months. i'll be paying £4k-£4.5k for one with 30-40k miles.

And this is my point. Not OMG LOL YOU GOT A C2 becuase hey, some people like C2's. More, OMG LOL £7k for a C2 when a 30k mile C2 1.6 is £5k.

The remaining £2k buys a lot of insurance and petrol.

some people like to drive "as near-new" car regardless of price. some people don't find high Mileage appealing regardless of spec. its all relative.

Nice car, but you will be bored of it before you have paid off that £7k.

Still, enjoy it :)

been driving his parents car for 3 years so i doubt he's a petrol head. By the sounds of it should do him well.
