First car

well i was going to get something fast(911 with my dad, posted on here before) but i realised im gonna be in the army in a few months so i cant see the point im very attracted to older cars that are rear weel drive or have 4 gears they just good anyone got any suggestions ive slashed my budget to 3k (including insurance) since ive started saving for a house for when i come out of the army.

i want something thats cool but old since i think well looked after old cars look sick.

Honest suggestion?

Buy an old Mini. 2grand will get you a decent one and classic insurance is cheap even for new drivers. They are absolutely hilarious to drive.

yes there very appealing what year and cc would you get ?

since its my first car i dont want anything too flashy since i will probably get a scratch somewhere.
