Right now this is the first time i have really started to mod my own case. I really like the case but i also like to be able to see where all my money has gone :D
I do plan to update this thread as and when i get my parts for the case plans are for :

i7 920
Corsair Dominator GT
My two GTX 260's
EVGA Micro X58 (That i won :D)
Corsair Hydro H50.
Antec 1000W. out of my old case
128GB M225 SSD for OS
1TB F3
Scythe Master fan controller

First off the case as new.

Now what i managed to do in a few hours today was start on getting a side window made for it so out came the dremel and so far i have done this

The X2 is just for show its spare.
I will do the other side during the week i think
Now it still needs a tidy up and the edges are not quite straight enough yet need to take a file to it, the window is held in place for photo with bluetack :)

Now for the inside

I was thinking of getting a Corsair H50 and a LianLi V351. I'm interested to see what you do with the combination. Are you going to mount the radiator at the front?

Hmm how did i miss this post

Yup i will be hope to get my cpu and ram in about a week so will be seeing how this goes at the moment the H50 is on my q9550 and keeps it at about 45°c under full load which is nice

Slight update to the build hoped it would be built by now but royal fail have let me down with my usb wi-fi adapter:mad: i need it for my Folding/Seti work.

Anyways i got my i7 920 and a cheap 3GB memory till i can get hold of the Dominator GT set

Still got to cut a area out from the CD drive bays so i can fit the H50 properly as the side will not fit on the way its currently fitted but will do it this weekend if i get time

But i had the CPU up to 4Ghz but temps in a case this small are really to high for me so 3.8Ghz will do me fine temps in the high 70's

i will take some better pics when i finish a few mods and clean the ol girl up as its become covered in fingerprints :o

Like your fitting of hard drive, not sure its the best though... why does it need to be across 2 fittings?

Erm well the hard drive was the last thing i put in after spending 3hrs putting it all together and then found my sata cable just 2 inches short so had to mount it round that way and it would only fit that way didn't want cables going everywhere.
So ill be getting some longer sata cables plus that hard drive is old anyways so it has to come out at some point and be replaced with a SSD and a F3.

That is very nice :D

I want to do something like that in the future as i would prefer a custom water setup and my north bridge does get high temps it went to 94ºc before fitting second fan on H50 sits around 60ºc now.

You have given me ideas, now my wallet hates you :D

Hi, it was fairly easy all i really needed to do was cut the CD drive bay to fit the radiator in properly and cut one corner off my fan because the 24 pin power connector on the motherboard was hitting the fan, but might be different depends which mobo your going to use really.

Well it's been a while my board is currently in Germany with an RMA and EVGA couldn't be more helpful, but i was looking at my case and thought why not and started ordering some stuff for a cpu WC setup and a new PSU couldn't help myself :D

Well today i emailed EVGA as i have no idea if the board got there and i got a reply that they are waiting on a delivery of the board as it isn't available in Europe.
But i will be getting a new one sweet happy days i can now continue my build without worrying about whats coming back to me :D:D
