I don't see what the point of winning is when you're not actually the one doing the winning. (if that makes any sense.)
I dunno, I just wouldn't feel any satisfaction coming in at the top of the scoreboard if I knew I hadn't gotten that score all on my own.
Its not as black and white though. Say theres one person on the server using an aimbot, combined with a familiarity with the maps etc. Yep they win and its easy and its pointless because they themselves arent doing anything.
But say there is someone else on the server with a wallhack he can see the aimbotter coming and he sees how the aimbotter is dominating so how do you kill someone who kills you as soon as they shoot at you?
Simple kill them with spam so e.g. grenades
And thats only 2 combinations. Its likely that the aimbotter will be using a multihack so he would have a load of options including wallhack. So the simple wallhacker is no challenge for him really. Its when he comes up against other cheaters using different hacks, different versions etc. Thats where he will see the challenge.
Now you're thinking who wins between 2 aimbotters? Whoever presses fire first?? Not really. No aimbot is the seem: different aiming methods and different aiming vectors as well.
And add into the mix - various hacks or tweaks really that will "optimize" your connection ping/lag etc.
You could write a book on all the factors involved in online gaming and how to cheat at it. (wouldnt be surprised if there was guide to this actually out in the depths of the interweb)
Between these people they would see it as skill. They are still scum but do they care - not a jot. Its the online gaming underclass; a whole other community.
