First COD6 Details

Infinity ward has leaked some info on the new COD6. As im sure you know the next COD6 takes place again in the Modern Warfare world. Here is the leaked information

*Vehicles will be in MW2
*M16 will return, using stopping power will only be OHK at head, neck, and torso (abdomen, limbs, and hands/feet will not)
*Ak47 and M4 will return, unknown if there are any changes
*M40 will return, ACOG damage boost will be fixed
*Scorpion, P90, M21, R700, G3, G360 will not return
*There are more unknown weapons that will not return
*New sniper rifle: SR25M (United states forces)
*New Assault rifle: Diemeco C8 (Canadian forces M4 equivelant)
*New Assault rifle: L85A2 (United Kingdom forces)
*Total weapons in multiplayer are said to be around 35
*Favourite Modern warfare 1 maps will return
*Helicopters, air strikes, UAV will return
*Red dot sightings will come in different shapes for multiplayer (circular, square, original)
*Snipers will have special grass camouflage (As seen in Modern warfare 1’s campaign)
*All perks will return from MW except eavesdrop and others will be altered
*All gametypes will return from MW and all will have hardcore versions
*New gametype: Secure (Call of duty version of capture the flag, however you capture the enemy’s Intel)
*New gametype unconfirmed name, similar to search and destroy, however instead of trying to plant a bomb, you try to kill a specified enemy
*Solider customization for each class (and each country)
*Sniper with silencers will NOT be in multiplayer
*There are NO bots in local multiplayer
*Similar version to Nazi Zombies, however details are unknown
*NO guest players online, 1 player per console
*Killcam save feature
*There is blood and gore
*Offline/Online Co-op
*Story takes place in the Middle East
*Role as US marines return
*Ken Lally voice work in campaign
*Release is set for sometime in November
*New army tags will be available to add different elements in campaign (similar to halo skulls)
*Campaign-only weapons
 
All I need to know is that it's set in the modern era, and it's made by Infinity Ward. Those two facts alone are enough for me to buy the game when it comes out :)
 
Vehicles? The little I played of CoD: WaW leaves me a little disappointed. However, it is IW that are doing this one so I would expect them to get it right. Hopefully ;)

Surprised that the P90 is not back though, that will defo upset a lot of the folk that play the game, the n00b spray and prayers.
 
This info was leaked by a fired tester(or something along those lines) and has been debunked by IW a few days ago as far as I knew.

14 CommentsThe supposedly leaked list of features for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 that set the internet ablaze yesterday was utterly false, according to developer Infinity Ward's community manager Robert Bowling (aka Fourzerotwo).

The list that hit IW's Twitter page was supposedly from an internal tester, who'd gone out of their way to post a pretty detailed list of features from guns and vehicles to multiplayer details and more.


But Bowling has, however, said: "It didn't come from anyone who has access to our internal builds and indeed contains several features that are already in CoD4 such as grass camo for snipers. In short, it's BS," (via Blues News).

when i worked in a games store there was a fella who would repeatedly come in and ask which games aimed for you. like literally aimed for you. When we replied that we didnt really know any and it kind of defeated the point he got really rude and would storm out, only to return and ask the same question a couple of days later but worded slightly differently

He probably Googled and came across an aimbot for Counter Strike, bet he's happy as larry now. :p
 
If you need aim-assist you shouldn't be playing COD.

COD4 was laughable with aim assist on.. R1; fire; kill

How about aiming a punch to his forehead ?
 
Some of them sound well stupid. Like stopping power not effecting limbs on the M16, wtf.

Its all about the MP5.
