First Date

I went to the cinema on my first date, no idea why, just seemed like a good idea :p

Because you can do things in the dark that you can't do in the light.

I have one on Tuesday. Going to a pub which should have live music later in the evening. However, if the sun is out we'll go to a beer garden.

Keeping it simple is best I reckon. I did go on a first date to the zoo once and it was rubbish.

Don't forget the see-saw thing!

She's really pushy to see me on Tuesday...hmms :o

At this rate I'll probably be married by Friday if not earlier :p

Depends if you want it go anywhere long term I guess :p

Too right. But it sucks when you get caught and get told to move to the front where they can keep an eye on you.:p

Been there done that. Dont ever goto the cinema on a first date. And dont make the mistake of seeing a zach braff movie about divorce and couples.

CRASH and BURN :D

To be honest though you really should be able to work out where to take a girl on a first date without needing the help of a bunch of geeks on an internet computer hardware forum. How do you think people managed before the internet?

Arguably the fact you do need to ask us something as simple as this suggests she might look right through your limited organisational skills and sadly things may not progress beyond a first date.

I am, frankly, a bit socially retarded at best, and downright useless at worst but even I managed to set up a highly successful first date without the assistance of the internet, so I am sure you can manage.

If you can't, then I pity you. If you can, you obviously posted this purely as a LOOK GUYZ I AM MEETING TEH GURLZ thread, in which case, I still pity you :p

Bah maybe he had an idea but, wanting to make an excellent impression on the first date, wanted to see if anyone could think of anything even better...

I suggest going to visit your parents to introduce them to your new gf

bowling + quick meal at a fun place? pizza hut, burger joint etc... maybe a movie if there's something good on?

something that doesn't require too much sit down talking... in my opinion
