First day tomorrow

I start my new job tomorrow, at the moment i'm fairly calm, even eaten dinner so the nerves arent playing up too badly yet but come tomorrow morning i shall be a wreck no doubt!

3D CAD for wessex engineering & construction services ltd (wessex water) - except they dont do 3D cad so my job is to take the company into the 21st century in their engineering design!

solidworks or pro e?

if its full of 2D guys at the moment all they will do for a week is stand there with their mouths wide open lol, thats what we all did when we turned to 3D, then it will turn to fustration for them as they try to learn it, then they will b your best mate as when they get stuck u are the only one who can help them.

Good luck, should b a breeze. just remember to not leave any gaps in your drawings = bad for carrying water.

Nearly everyone get nervous before starting a new job,don't they...i do. But the nerves usually dissappear when you get in the building & get started working

Neither, well its down to me to assess the companies needs and choose the most appropriate package, that could end up as somthing like autodesk civil as its civil building we do, i dont know until i get stuck in and its gonna take months to years rather than weeks to do
