First ding... To the internets!

Stop driving until you know how to react to the most mundane of situations?

Why the hell would you bend down to pick up a hot chocolate instead of, you know, drive round the upcoming corner?

You really need to stop arseing around with the wireless and hot chocolate and other distractions and pay more attention to driving.

I hope you get it sorted and I hope it's enbough of a kick in the arse to teach you a lesson!

Mate.. thats the sort of crash that makes you need to think about whether driving is for you.

I mean crashing because you thought you were Jenson Button yet were not, or just not realising the guy in front had pulled away, etc etc fair enough but..... reaching into the footwell, whilst turning a corner, and accidently mashing the accelerator at the same time?

It's the only way.

5*
excellent start to the new year (for me)

dude that sucks. somewhat ironic your username is Clown eh ;)

reaching into the passanger footwell is impossible at the best of times, got knows why you'd do it whilst going round a corner.
usually when i try and grab something from the passanger footwell i end up on the wrong side of the road, which is why i now just wait until i've stopped.

take advantage of TfL

I did 3000 miles last year. I don't drive all that much and only do it because I enjoy it. It gets me out of the house and gives me time to think about other things... Like hot chocolate!

Yes I know I'm a **** and I fully expected to get ripped to shreds by Motors, but I live and learn!

Hopefully I won't have too many of these threads to make...

On a side note, my airbag lights have been flashing for months and I thought that they just wouldn't deploy if there was something wrong with the system. Ford didn't know what to make of it so we just left it.

Fox speaketh the truth here...

Yeah I tend to agree with what Fox says on the whole, but I don't think I'll quit driving because I made a silly mistake. I don't tend to make mistakes twice anyway!

I guess I should hold off on my 330ci or 350z idea then!
(my only criteria were that my next car had to be faster and look better than my Focus)

I'd class them as two different mistakes! :p
The worst thing is, it's literally 100 metres away from where I normally park. Maybe I just got too comfortable as I was reaching home.

No, you'll quit driving because no one will want to insure you.

Classic case of a driver concentrating on everything other than driving. I see it all the time.

Its quite common, I know of somebody who drove his truck through a,thankfully empty, house because his bacon sandwich fell off his lap.....!

Clearly mr Clown has a way to go before he's competent imo.
