First ever build going to be used solely for gaming. Any recommendations or advice are appreciated.

Of course, but considering limited budget I didn’t think there was anything else I could compromise on in order to get a better cooler.
Anyway, can always upgrade later :D.
You could always consider Intel and for around the same price you could get a 10400F and Z490 which will beat a 3600 in games while also giving you a better motherboard with a stronger VRM and more features.

I was considering that, but I feel the extra features on the mobo will likely go unused by me, and also considering new consoles built around Zen 2 architecture... Will expect better game performance from AMD in upcoming triple A titles.
