First game using DirectStorage coming to pc

Unreal Engine 4 is the prime culprit. If you haven't noticed it in many games that use that use that engine then you are blissfully insensitive to stuttering.

Days Gone, didnt notice any abnormal stuttering in that game and I completed it. What you will probably find is most people dont see it because its been there from the beginning. What would be noticeable is if in the same game it had this technology and I played it through again and noticed "something" was smoother. This to me is one such technology that will be introduced but you wont even notice its there unless you can turn it off/on somehow. When someone produces a like for like video then maybe it will come clear.

If it does occur it obviously doesnt bother me like it would if FPS stuttered. So just my opinion but at the moment without further evidence on my PC it looks to be solving an issue I cant see.

Digital Foundry often talk about so it's a real thing. Days Gone is one of the games without stutter that use the engine. Some games are much better than others and take into account this issue and the developers mitigate it, also it's much less prevalent in DX11 which I believe Days Gone uses.
