I've just sold my xbox to buy a pc that can I can play COD MOD WAR 2 and use for uni work. Any advice/comments on the setup below would be appreciated. Thanks!

That looks very well researched for your first post here. Welcome to the forums.

I'd be inclined to get components instead of the bundle and overclock it myself, but I like that sort of thing. Beyond that I can't really improve on your spec. You'll need a screen of course, and some form of audio. Hopefully someone else can be more helpful :)
 
Not 100%, but the motherboard you listed can not do SLI?

If it can not, i suggest going for an ATi graphics card, as the baord should have crossfire.

I always suggest people go for the graphics that the motherboard can support 2 or more of.

Would I be better opting for the intel CPU rather than AMD bundle for the same price its this:

Nah, stay with the AMD bundle. The Intel choice might have a quad core, but it's a carpy quad core with a nerfed cache.
