First Motorbike...

Carole Nash have been recommended to me a few times but didnt seem to bring back the best numbers, they were slightly better than bennetts, but not as cheap as e-bike.

You may find however they could be better for you, it cant hurt to try.

There is something seriously wrong there, even if you lived in liverpool you shouldnt have a quote that high for the bikes you are putting in :/

You could always buy my Kawasaki ZXR400 off me which will be up for sale in May. I am 20 with 1 year ncb and my insurance was 300, i imagine yours wouldnt be much more if you did the full test, not just cbt. get a restrictor on it and your away on a much better bike. maybe im biased but i do hate 125cc "sports" bikes.

You wont get cheap insurance on any 125 because the prices are kept high simply because theres a lot of youngsters that can only ride a 125. Even with a full license the price will still be high on a sporty-ish 125, it'll probably be cheaper to insure a Sports 400.

Will probably have a look in the morning as I have lots of work to do atm. I don't like the idea of have £1500 sat outside in the shed - ground anchor and security or not. It takes about a minute to steal a bike with a gas axe and a transit van :o

Try H&R insurance, as a broker not only did they sort out my renewals but they also went and found cheaper companies for me later on to see if i wanted to change over, no fuss whatsoever but managed to get me £200 off when i renewed a policy :)
