A card game using the lore from Dota 2

"Artifact is a card game based on Dota 2 involving three boards and a selection of characters from Valve’s flagship game, though other details remain light. The game was announced just before the final match of Day 2 of TI7 by event host Sean “Day9” Plott, who gave a vague description of the game that seemed to indicate it would involve building barracks, creeps, and lanes (after suggesting the announcement was not related to Dota 2). Comparisons to Blizzard’s Hearthstone seem inevitable."

I've been really enjoying Gwent and would definitely give this a try. The market is absolutely flooded with CCG's at the moment though.

I think if they can have this working on Mobile devices on release it would be huge for them.

Everyone wants their own card game due to all those 'lovely micro transaction' boxes they can sell.

Nah, why the dickens don't they release a proper game that we all want to play
I know! they don't make games anymore, they just sell them. Boo!

What happened to Portal 3? Half-life? Steam was so successful they must have moved all their best people onto it instead :(megasadface :(

I still have a blast on both Portal games as well as HL series. Such a shame they are not following those up.

A card game? Is this what they've been making since 2007 in their spare time when they're not diving into sacks of money Scrooge McDuck style?

Yay the dota equivalent of hearthstone. Just what I always wanted from valve. How is it even a new IP if it's based on DOTA anyway?
