What do you guys reckon, will be using it for downloading bits off net, burning cds, watching dvds playing the odd game or two.

Also would like to have ago at overclocking.

You reckon this set-up is ok anything I could improve on or dont need?

If you want to overclock that E6300 go with a DS3 or DS4 and get a good after market cooler from Arctic Cooling, Scythe, Tuniq
 
Drop the raptor and go for a 250GB Seagate 7200.10

It will cost you less, you will have more than twice the capacity and the Seagate is very, very quick. Not as quick as the Raptor, but who cares when you have a larger, cheaper HDD.

Indeed, Ive stated the above in two other threads today, missed the opportunity 3rd tiome round :p
 
So apart from going with the ds4 and changing the harddrive to the Seagate everying else is ok for what I want to do.

Should be more than enough. My 4 year old PC would be more than enough for you, so I should think a C2D rig will be :D

I hope you plan to play more than just 1 or 2 games with that graphics card though ;)
