right its time to show my very first photos
I lurk on these forums a lot but dont post much so I picked my best from my first 6 months with a DSLR
Its a Sony A300 kit lens and a minolta 35-105 with macro
Good first efforts, its probably worth reading up on some basics regarding composition, I think the limes would have working better if it was totally in frame and not bang in the middle, as with the seat also.
cheers chaps just learning so all comments taken on board ,been reading understanding exposure and digesting it slowly ,gonna work on rule of thirds next
thanks
Dave
The 2nd shot might be better vertical
The 3rd shot has a lot of potential and good composition IMO.
Same with the 4th except abit more cropping on the left and right to get rid of the frame. Square framing it isn't going to be an issue.
5th shot feels a tat under exposed but I know what you're trying to get. Perhaps brightening up the background or even go back and white but up the exposure and contrast to emphasise the background's light against foreground dark.
