Could have been worse. I've been in the same situation as you only I hit a deer (at 60mph). And more recently I too hit a pheasant going between 80-90mph though it didn't do any damage.

And even more recently I hit a very small bird (the ones that just swoop down in front of you but never hit). When I got home I noticed that one of its organs lodged between the bonnet and the wing. Niiice.

Hoping its just the plastics damaged and that its easy to find a replacement, or a mugen front end...ooh hehe

only a few though so they should be fine. You'd probablly be best straightenning em out with a pair of pliars though

other than that, seems purely cosmetic.

Going to give it a good wash in the morning, get all the guts & feathers off and hope things are ok,the guy down the garage does little jobs for free usually so hopefully it'll all be ok and he'll get it tweaked straight

Yep.. if you kill the animal, and then take it home, then legally you are a poacher... however the person following in the car behind can pick it up, and take it home to eat

I usually get at least one rabbit or pigeon a month driving to work.
Never got anything in the company trucks. However one of our other drivers got a cow in a company van many years ago. (waits for bad jokes)
