You've been asking that for days, I think you know the answer by now![]()
Sounds you were unlucky with your monitor. I have the same and witcher 3 is just fine for me there. Can't comment on destiny 2 since not owning it. You could always return it and try a new one ? Or the Acer but never owne one of thier monitors so no comment there either. Hmm not really a helpful post but atleast you got another reply.Keep replying to my own posts here haha! Considering returning this, first impressions were very good, but now starting to see smearing and it appears really bad. The witcher 3 at night for example is just a mess! And the third training mission in destiny 2 in the dark when you get your super and light Wells was really blurred. I don’t get it, my old cheaper BenQ 27” 60hz VA had non of that so don’t know why a premium monitor would?
Is IPS that much better? Thinking I should have got the Acer xf270 on offer instead!

I not really played with the settings (mostly due to laziness and the colours looks fine for me) but I changed it to the Cinema Mode and that makes Brightness to 90, Contrast to 80 and Saturation to 50 but I did change the gamma to 2.5. Don't think that will sort things out for you though if you got smearing, but guess never hurt trying. Good luck !Thanks for the reply. Out of interest what settings do you have the monitor on for the witcher 3 and I’ll try that?
I’m also going to try old monitor side by side to get direct comparison.
