first time build for a friend

My friend has started playing simulator games, such as farming euro truck and train sims, and is looking at getting into pc gaming, and is looking at building a cheap pc. I'm aware that simulator games require more cpu power than gpu power so I was wondering if someone could give me ideas on parts that would be needed for 1080p with a budget of around £500, although ideally less.

An SSD is essential, even if its just a boot drive, doesnt have to be the best, any SSD will do.

The FX6300 looks good, but i wouldnt know what gpu to pair with it, or whether the psu would be enough for it

That looks really good, would the i5 be enough as not overclockable? Would an fx6300 be better as it can be overclocked?

AMD CPU are so far behind the game now that even a eighth core FX I am willing to bet would be no match for a Skylake i5.

Plus to overclock a FX you would want a 970 chipset board which has strong VRMs and cooling and those are all ATX form factor meaning that the case would be no good.

450w should be fine for a 1080.

I run a 450w psu with my rig and power draw would be about the same.

1070 would be a more realistic match for that cpu though.
