First time build gaming pc

Hey guys, so im wanting to build my first ever pc and im unsure about some parts so some help would be appreciated.
Games wise i want to be able to play stuff like arma 2/3 , dayz and Bf4 maxed out.

Budget is around £1000 - £1300 , and i don't need a monitor , mouse or keyboard.

These are the parts iv been looking at but im unsure about motherboard , power , memory etc so any tips on what to get would be helpful thanks.

• You want just a tower unit without OS for a maximum of 1.3K?
• What resolution monitor do you have?

yeah sorry forgot to say , iv got windows 7 64 bit ready to put on and my screen resolution is 1680 x 1050 at 60 Hz.

A single 7970 will be ample for your resolution.

You can always add a second later in Crossfire mode if you need extra grunt.

Iv always been bit of a nvdia kinda guy , could i swap out that card for one ? i could probably look into a better monitor if needs be.

If you're going to spend that much, i'd recommend upgrading your monitor to something like this http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-052-DE&groupid=17&catid=510 and going for stulid's build. Maybe upgrade the SSD to a 250 GB.
