First time build problems: Flashing green light on Motherboard! Need help!

Hello, I built my PC late last night, so didn't get chance to really test it last night, anyway when I come to test it this afternoon in my 19 inch tv via HDMI it just wouldn't boot and there was no video output at all. I fixed this problem by unplugging the PCI-E lead from the gpu and for some reason it did boot and show video out put. However I turned it off and went to install Windows 7 and then I couldn't turn it on when I flicked the PSU switch there was just a green light flashing on the Motherboard and it won't even turn on at all.

Things I've tried after a little bit of research:

.Removing the PSU and all cables and putting it back in and hooking everything back up.

.Removing the Ram and re installing it.

.One ram stick to see if it would boot up rather than 2.

And none of these have worked at all . Any help Would be highly appreciated as I'm frankly terrified something has happened, I've attached some images below of the Motherboard and cables.

The build:

Motherboard:Asus H81L-Plus

CPU: I3 4330 3.5GHZ

GPU: Msi radeon r9 270 twin frozr edition

Case: Corsair Obsidian 250 d

Ram: Hyper x 8gb

PSU: Corsair cx 430 w

Have no Idea and I've had to build it while standing on carpet so knowing my luck I've probably blew something, that's 500 gone down the pan ffs!. However I was careful while handling the parts my finger accidentally touched the back of the gpu sometimes while plugging stuff In but I doubt that's why.

Tried unplugging everything, putting it all back in and it's exactly the same :(

have you checked cpu socket for any bent pins? and have you tested by turning on the pc with swapping power and reset mb wires over and start it with reset button?

also try a long cmos/battery removal 10-15 minutes then put back in n try

Which wires you mean? completely new to building :(

take all the wires off and just connect the reset +/- to the mb power +/- pins and start pc with reset switch

if no joy put them all back to how they were originally

There's no bent pins on the cpu, so that's good checked it all

No joy :(, might be the PSU not sure

Put Motherboard on non conductive area, some people use the motherboard box, dont put it on top of the antistatic bag.

Reseat cpu and heatsink.

Reseat ram, if you have 2 sticks just install 1

Reseat power cables, dont install anything else.

Connect display to motherboard, dont install the gfx card

Clear cmos (shows how in manual chapter 1.6 jumpers )

To power on without the case some people short pins with a screwdriver however to be safe I would buy a cable to do this, you can search for HDE ® Power Sw Motherboard Cable For Pc Power Switch Button

Basically connect the minimum amount to see if the board will fire up.

On other forums with different Asus boards some folk that had the blinking led were caused by dodgy psu or faulty front panel usb on case.

I think the mb may just be dead :(, like an Idiot I threw everything away so Wouldn't be able to return, well I've got the boxes just no anti static bag etc, It's still in the bin though don't really wanna rummage out of the bin as it'll be dirty etc :/

It's dead :(, got it on the box the light is still flashing green, I also can't rma I binned the plastic chip that came in the cpu socket :( and the anti static bag. Also how can I box up my gpu etc without the anti static stuff?
