First Time Build

bump! Today's the day, order has arrived at the local DPD depot, impatient as I am, I phoned them and will collect in person in a little under an hour now. Will spend the day building and post some pics of how it went.

Wish me luck

Sorry I wasn't able to embedd them, and sorry they're a bit late

PC, is running nicely with temps in the 30's, haven't oc'd anything yet, will do soon tho. Only issue i'm having is a lot of line noise in certain applications e.g. minecraft. Thinking of getting a nice soundcard anyway as i'm a bit of an audiophile. Other than that the build was a lot of fun, when we weren't swearing. If i've learnt anything it's that a magnetic screwdriver is a mans best friend!

No worries .... Love the silver arrow, it's a beast

BTW If you have ventilation holes under the PSU then it might be an idea to turn the PSU upside down so it pulls cool air in

EDIT Yep from your pics you do have the holes so go ahead if you're up for it :)

Thanks for the tip Subliminal, Just been installing my new soundcard and remembered what you said...

PSU is now upside down drawing air through the vent at the bottom.

Asus Xonar DG 5.1 is up and running like a beaut
