Some newer games have the ability to set what in-game resolution you'd like and what actual resolution your monitor is.
Nvidia experience can also do this as well - super sampling I think it's called

ok thanks mate! In games, would you recommend setting s the video/graphics settings in the Nvidia panel or in the game itself? Will one override the other?

There was a review done once, to lazy to find it but went along the lines of use game settings , but in the control panel , set AF settings .
But this was a while ago, most poeple just use in game , but Nvidia control panel will over ride games own if set

Cheers pal.
Would you recommend using the auto OC feature in the app centre? I clicked it last night and it cocked my settings up. It disabled xmp profile...i since re enabled xmp and clicked back the default setting in the easy tuner!!

not really, as it applies a lot of voltage to make sure its fully stable

try 4.8Ghz at 1.35v - run cinebench, asus realbench and intel extreme stress test and see how it copes, then step up to 4.9Ghz with same voltage or if your happy at 4.8ghz, see how far you can lower the voltage .

Set Load Line Calibration to Turbo :)

Sorry mate, i cant say I have the foggiest idea what to do. Id be worried id mess something up! Probably best for me to use and abuse for bit before i start getting into that eh...ill have to try and educate myself a little then come back to you.

One thing I'm not overly happy with is the rate at which my rad fans are running at idle, it seems to me that if i set them in the BIOS they stay there but if i mess about with the gigabyte app it cocks them all up again. Seems bit ***** that app in some areas haha
